+====== Adding A New Page ======
 +
 +So, you're comfortable editing pages and working with the Visual Editor Toolbar. You're now ready to add a new page.
 +
 +Maybe you want to add a new Thought, or add some guidelines for using a new tool in the Scene Shop.
 +
 +Here's what you do...
 +
 +===== Create a link to the new page on an existing page =====
 +
 +Go to an existing page and create a page link to the new page.
 +
 +==== For a new Thought: ====
 +
 +  * Go to the Thoughts main page
 +  * Add your page title, something like "Living on an Actors Salary" -- in this case at the top of the list (newest first)
 +  * Select the text with your mouse
 +  * Click on the click on the //Insert Link //(paperclip) option on the toolbar:
 +  * Accept the defaults and just click OK on the Link Configuration popup window
 +  * And Save this page
 +
 +==== For the Scene Shop example: ====
 +
 +  * Go to the appropriate page in the Scene Shop
 +  * Add something like "How to use the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster"
 +  * Select the text with your mouse
 +  * Click on the click on the //Insert Link //(paperclip) option on the toolbar:
 +  * Accept the defaults and just click OK on the Link Configuration popup window
 +  * And Save the page
 +
 +A this point, you'll see the new link on the page, but it will be red rather than the normal green.
 +
 +===== Then create the new page =====
 +
 +After you've created the page link (now glowing red), click on it.
 +
 +You will be presented with a page saying: **This topic does not exist yet.**
 +
 +Click on //Create this page// in the right hand buttons. This will open up an edit page where you can create the new page.
 +
 +
 +===== Add a page title! =====
 +
 +When you create a new page, the first line should always be the **Title of The Page**.
 +
 +  * Type in the title text
 +  * Click somewhere on the title
 +  * Go up to the Visual Editor Toolbar and click the Headings option
 +  * Select **H1** for the main page title
 +
 +Go forth and create the rest of the page. You can always use the FIXME smiley (here's how) to flag areas that need to be addressed ... sometime later on. ;-)
 +
 +===== Exceptions & Sub-Namespaces =====
 +
 +Some areas have special steps when adding a new page, or a new sub-namespace. People & Productions are two examples. When in doubt, check here or ask a Wiki Admin, especially if you are planing on adding a lot of pages or a new namespace.
